Fox And Crow Story In English

This is the famous Fox and Crow story in English. One day, while the fox was walking out, the fox saw a crow. The crow scooped down and picked up a piece of cheese in its beak. The crow then flapped its wings and flew up onto the branch in a nearby tree. The fox drooled and said, “Umm! That’s a tasty-looking piece of cheese! I should have that piece of cheese! I am a sly fox and I deserve it,” the fox thought to himself.

The clever fox quickly made up a plan in her mind. The fox walked over to the foot of the tree and started implementing her plan. The fox wanted the crow to speak. Naturally, the crow was taught never to speak with her mouth full. So, she didn’t greet the fox when he arrives to sit under the tree.

The fox asked the crow, “How are you today? You are looking mighty fine! Is that something different about you? Your feathers look so glossy and black, and your eyes are sparkling like diamonds, and finally you are looking so beautiful” The crow didn’t answer with her mouth full of cheese.

The fox again said, “If you can sing as good as you look, then I will have to call you the queen of all the birds!” Flattered by all the compliments from the fox, wanting to be called the queen of all birds, the crow lifted her head and began to sing. At that moment, she opened her mouth. The cheese fell down into the waiting mouth of the fox below.

The fox ate all of it and said, “I got what I wanted!” The fox looked up at the sad crow on that tree. “Oh no! I dropped my cheese! You have stolen my cheese,” the crow cried loudly. The fox replied, “Not at all! It was a trap that I created vein crow! With your head up in the trees, you got compliments and I got the yummy cheese!”
