This is one of the best short motivational stories for kids. Once upon a time, there lived a pair of acrobats. One of them was the teacher and the other was a girl called Meda. Now, the teacher was a widower. And the girl had nowhere else to go. These two journeyed together and performed here and there.
Wherever they went, they found a place to perform their acts. With that, they would earn money. Performing was all they could do. So, they managed to live by with the money they made. Also, read Hard Work Leads To Success.
Since acrobats require an intense focus and amazing balance, they had to be careful. The two had to make sure that their focus wasn’t broken while performing. On top of that, they made sure that they do not injure themselves, leaving the other one alone.
One day, the teacher said to Meda, “I have an idea. When we perform, you watch me and I will watch you. If we do that we’ll be able to help each other. Whenever someone loses balance or focus the other will be able to help out.” Meda thought over the suggestion. But Meda was wiser than her teacher. She knew her teacher’s advice, even though was given with good intentions but wasn’t correct.
Her teacher had not thought about the situation properly. So she said to her teacher, “I appreciate your advice teacher. But I have a better idea. We should take care of ourselves. If we do that, we’ll help each other out. Because it will help both of us. We both will be healthy and we will be to earn more that way!”
Immediately the teacher realized that Meda was right. He agreed and happily accepted Meda’s advice. He was proud that his student was growing up to be wise. You may also like to read, The Hospital Window.
