Summary:

In this poem, we see a son and father in a rhythmical conversation. The father catches his son red-handed, with his arm stuck inside a sugar container. Now, the father asks his son what is he doing with his hand inside the sugar jar. Johnny, a notorious child, casually lies and says “No, papa”. At once the father realizes that his son is lying. So as to confirm he again asks the son if he is lying to him. To which the son again lies. Now, the father knows that Johny had been eating sugar without permission. So, he asks Johnny to open his mouth, to which Johnny replies with a laugh. And when Johnny laughs, the father can see that Johnny had been eating sugar and had been lying.
